Important!
On engines with automatic transmissions, there is shortly
before the special tool bore (1) for the TDC position a large
bore (2) which can be confused with the special tool bore.
If the flywheel is secured in the correct bore (1) with special tool
11 9 190 / 11 5 120 , the engine can no longer be moved at
the central bolt.
Mount special tool 11 9 280 on hub for vibration damper.
Important!
If the central bolt is tightened to the specified torque, special
tool 11 9 190 / 11 5 120 must not be used for gripping
when the central bolt is released.
Pull special tool 11 9 190 / 11 5 120 back until flywheel is no
longer secured.
Do not crank engine.
Note:
When releasing and tightening down central bolt (1), grip special
tool 11 9 280 with a second person.
Slacken central bolt (1) approx. a quarter turn.
Remove special tool 11 9 280 .
