Removing and installing, sealing or replacing
oil pan (M51 to 9 / 92)
Note:
Engine must be lifted to remove the oil pan.
Remove complete splash guard (underbody protection).
Drain off engine oil,
refer to 00 0 249.
Loosen guide pipe for dipstick.
Installation:
Check O-ring, replace if necessary.
Unclip radiator mounting at top.
Note:
When lifting out engine, also lift out radiator.
Water pipes remain connected.
