Checking camshaft timing (M43 / M43TU)
Remove cylinder head cover,
refer to 11 12 000.
Remove spark plugs,
refer to 12 12 011.
If necessary, remove fan clutch with fan impeller and fan cowl,
refer to 11 52 020 / 17 11 031.
Turn engine on central screw in normal direction of rotation until
1st cylinder is in TDC position.
Remove dust cover from locating bore.
