3 Series E46 316i (M43TU) SAL
Fit sensor gear, arrow (1) on sensor gear points upwards in
cylinder axis.
Insert two screws and secure chain wheel.
Tightening Torque,
refer to Technical Data 11 31 3AZ.
Caution!
Remove special tool 11 3 190 from cylinder head.
Remove special tool 11 2 300 from locating bore in engine
block.
Turn central screw to rotate crankshaft until remaining two screws
are accessible.
Install and tighten down screws.
Tightening Torque,
refer to Technical Data 11 31 3AZ.
Assemble engine.
