3 Series E46 316i (M43TU) SAL
Secure crankshaft in TDC position with special tool 11 2 300.
Locate camshaft with special tool 11 3 190 in firing TDC position
of first cylinder.
Note:
Crankshaft and camshaft remain secured in position until
installation works have been completed.
Remove hub for vibration damper.
Remove timing case cover at bottom,
refer to 11 14 110.
Remove chain wheel from camshaft.
Remove sensor gear.
