Replacing knock sensor(s) (M43 from 9/95,
M43TU, M44)
Turn off ignition.
Remove upper section of manifold,
refer to 11 61 040
M 43:
Disconnect plug connection (1) for camshaft sensor.
Disconnect plug connection (2) for pulse generator.
M 43:
Release nuts (1) of cable channel on lower section of manifold.
M 43:
Disconnect plug connection (2) of knock sensors and remove from
bracket (1).
