M43TU:
Unclip plug connection (1) from retainer on cable duct (2) and
disconnect.
Location:
For cylinder group 1-2, knock sensor (1) must be seen between oil
filter and intake system.
The knock sensor for cylinder group 1-2 is accessible from above
between the intake pipes of cylinders 2 and 3. To gain access, air
intake hose for the fuel injectors on neck (1) of fuel rail must be
removed.
Note:
The knock sensor (1) on cylinder bank 1-2 is screw-mounted
to water pipe on engine block.
Release screw (1) on knock sensor.
Tightening Torque,
refer to Technical Data 12 14 2AZ
