Replacing wiring harness in automatic
transmission (A5S 360R/390R, A4S 200R)
Important!
After completion of work, check transmission oil level.
Use only the approved transmission fluid in this automatic
transmission.
Failure to comply with this requirement will result in serious
damage to the automatic transmission!
Necessary preliminary tasks:
•
Remove transmission oil sump.
•
Remove transmission plug at rear right.
Note:
Pay attention to spacer on transmission fluid screen (1) on
vehicles with diesel engines.
Pull off transmission fluid screen (1) towards bottom and remove.
Note:
If the sealing ring (1) has remained in the pump housing, it must
be removed and the transmission fluid screen replaced.
