Rotate camshaft until valves on cylinder 6 are in TDC position.

(Cylinder 1 = working stroke).

Note:

Rotate camshaft using hex nut.

Secure camshaft with special tool 11 3 320.

Note:

The gauge - special tool 11 3 320 - should be used for
adjusting timing intervals on new chains or on chains with a
recorded mileage of less than 20 000 km (12 000 miles).

If chains with a mileage of less than 20 000 km (12 000 miles)
are to be reused, insert a shim (feeler gauge) of A = 4.5 mm.
