5 Series E34 525td (M51) TOUR
Special tool 11 3 320 is provided for adjusting the timing
intervals when using new or existing chains up to a mileage of
20 000 km (12 000 miles).
If chains are to be re-used beyond a recorded mileage of
20 000 km (12 000 miles), insert a shim (feeler gauge) on inlet
end measuring A = 4.5 mm.
Tighten down sprocket screw.
Tightening specification,
refer to Technical Data 11 31 4AZ
Remove special tool 11 3 320.
