Replacing all heater plugs
Interrogate fault memory of DDE control unit.
If malfunctions have occurred on the heater plugs, the fuse
on the relay for the heater plugs must be checked,
refer to 12 21 500
Switch off ignition.
Disconnect negative lead from battery.
Remove covers.
E38, E39, E36 from 12/95:
Remove intake air manifold,
refer to 11 61 050
Unfasten nut. Remove line.
Tightening torque,
refer to Technical Data 12 23 3AZ
