Adjusting injection pump statically (DDE 2)
(M51)
Connect DIS or MoDiC to the diagnosis receptacle, select
diagnosis program on DDE control unit and interrogate fault
memory of DDE control unit.
Switch off ignition.
Coolant > 20
°
C
Remove negative leads from battery.
If fitted, remove underbody protection from engine.
Remove fan cowl.
Remove drain plug (1).
Installation:
Be sure to replace sealing ring.
Tightening Torque,
refer to Technical Data 13 51 1AZ
Install special tool 13 5 330. Secure dial gauge under preload.
