Checking electr. fuel cutoff unit (M51)
Connect up DIS or MoDiC and select diagnosis program of
DDE control unit, select component operation, then follow
instructions for subsequent procedure.
Remove protective cap (1).
The cutoff unit is supplied with power from ignition setting "Ignition
on" via the control unit. Switching-on will be heard by a loud click.
If a click is not heard, check power supply to the control unit.
For further tests, refer to BMW Diagnosis System.
Read out fault memory of DDE control unit.
