5 Series E34 525td (M51) TOUR
Adjusting:
Loosen bolt (1).
Loosen nuts (1 and 2) - do not loosen them too far to prevent
torsion stress being applied by the chains.
Rotate injection pump until the dial gauge indicates the correct
value,
refer to Technical Data.
Tighten retaining points in sequence 1 ... 3.
Tightening Torque, refer to Technical Data.
Check setting once again.
Installation:
Connect DIS or MoDiC to the diagnosis receptacle, select
diagnosis program on the DDE control unit, interrogate fault
memory of DDE control unit, check fault messages stored in
memory, remedy faults and clear fault memory.
