Removing and installing/sealing or
transmission oil sump

Drain off oil.

Version with oil filler pipe:

Remove filler neck (1).

Unscrew oil pan.

Take off oil sump with seal.

Installation:

Fit bracket with straight shoulder on side or fit concave
bracket to front and rear.

Tightening Torque, refer to Technical Data 24 11 5AZ

Clean oil sump.

Caution!

Install magnetic shims (1 and 2) in oil pan.

Check seal (3), replace if necessary.
