Tool for releasing sockets from holders
all series as of E30
Situation:
Tool 61 1 360 has been developed for releasing sockets from their holders, particularly
multiple-latch holders.
Please refer to Enclosure 1.
Releasing sockets is much simpler with this tool than with a screwdriver. The tool also
eliminates the danger of damaging the latching pins in the process of releasing the sockets.
Procedure:
Release tool 61 1 360 is now available on order as a stock tool.
Please refer to Repair Instructions 5 Series E39 , 7 Series E38,
