Adapter Cable for Independent Heating
E38, E39
Situation:
The adapter cable is required for troubleshooting and testing the independent heating in the
E38 and future models. It is used in conjunction with the 26-pin testing box 61 1 459.
The adapter cable is to be connected between the independent heating and peripherals.
Perform the measurements according to the testing schedule in the Diagnosis and
Information System.

The pin allocation is described in Enclosure 2.
Procedure:
Store tools are intended for repair shops and only supplied to order.
