Replacing rubber mounts on both traction
struts
Caution!
Always replace both rubber mounts!
Remove traction strut,
refer to 31 12 090
Using a press and special tool 31 2 261 / 263, remove or
press-fit rubber mount.
Installation:
Rubber mount and pressure rod bore free of grease.
Marking on rubber mount points to mark on traction strut.
Special tool must abut with outer bearing sleeve when press-
fitting.
Maximum permitted torsion tolerance
±
3

Installation:
Overlap (A) = 12.5
±
0.2 mm
