Shift Linkage: Service and Repair
REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
1. Negative battery cable.
2. Cables from each lever at the transaxle and cable bracket.
3. Knob, console, and shift boot.
4. Shift cables from the pin stud on the control assembly.
5. Spring clip holding cables to the control assembly.
6. Pull the carpet back to gain access to the shift cables.
