Hood Latch Replacement (Secondary)

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

Hood Latch Replacement (Secondary): Removal Procedure

1. Raise the hood.
2. Cut off the flat end of the primary hood latch/pilot pin.
3. Remove the pin from the latch.
4. Remove the secondary hood latch.
5. Remove the secondary hood spring.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

Hood Latch Replacement (Secondary): Installation Procedure

1. Install the secondary hood latch.
2. Install the secondary hood spring.
3. Attach the hood latch and attach the spring with the pin.
4. Flatten the end of the pin to retain in place.
5. Lower the hood.
