Heat Shield: Service and Repair
Exhaust Shield Replacement (Muffler Pipe)

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT 

1. Raise and suitably support the vehicle. 
2. Remove the heat shield nuts.
3. Remove the heat shield.

INSTALL OR CONNECT 

1. Install the heat shield.
2. Install the heat shield nuts. Tighten the heat shield nuts to 2 Nm (18 inch lbs.).
3. Lower the vehicle.
