Heat Shield: Service and Repair
Exhaust Shield Replacement (Tailpipe)

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT 

1. Raise and suitably support the vehicle. 
2. Remove the nut from the driver side rear inner tie rod mount.
3. Remove the heat shield.

INSTALL OR CONNECT 

1. Install the heat shield.
2. Install the nut onto the driver side rear inner tie rod mount. Tighten the nut to 90 Nm (66 ft. lbs.).
3. Lower the vehicle.
