Heat Shield: Service and Repair
Exhaust Shield Replacement (Resonator)

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT 

1. Raise and suitably support the vehicle. 
2. Remove the rear exhaust section. 
3. Remove the heat shield nuts (1) from the heat shield (2).
4. Remove the heat shield.

INSTALL OR CONNECT 

1. Install the heat shield.
2. Install the heat shield nuts (1) to the heat shield (2). Tighten the heat shield nuts (1) to 2 Nm (18 inch lbs.). 
3. Install the rear exhaust section. 
4. Lower the vehicle.
