Description

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the front seat. Refer to Front Seat Replacement in Seats.

2. Disconnect the electrical connector from the seat belt buckle and pretensioner.

3. Remove the bolt from the driver seat belt buckle and tensioner.

4. Remove the driver seat belt buckle and the tensioner.

Installation Procedure

1. Install the driver seat belt buckle and pretensioner.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precations.

2. Install the bolt to the driver seat belt buckle and pretensioner.

Tighten

Tighten the driver and/or passenger seat belt buckle and tensioner bolt to 35 N.m (26 lb. ft).

3. Install the electrical connector to the seat belt buckle tensioner.

4. Install the front seat. Refer to Front Seat Replacement in Seats.
