Reinstall the lower steering column bearing into the steering column jacket assemble.
7.
Reassemble the steering column. Refer to Steering Shaft, Lower Bearing, and Jacket Assemble - Off Vehicle in the Service Manual.
8.
Reinstall the steering column into vehicle. Refer to Steering Column Replacement in the Service Manual.
9.
Operate all of the steering column functions to insure proper installation.
10.
Turn the wheel from left to right and right to left to insure that the noise is no longer present.
