Fascia Replacement - Rear Bumper
Removal Procedure
1. Remove the rear fascia extension. Refer toFascia Extension Replacement - Rear (See: Fascia Extension Replacement - Rear) .
2. Remove the push-in retainers (2) by cutting with diagonal cutters.
3. Open the rear compartment.
4. Remove the rear sill plate. Refer toCompartment Sill Plate Replacement - Rear (See: Interior Moulding / Trim/Scuff Plate/Service and Repair) in
Body Rear End.
5. Remove the nuts (1) securing the fascia (2) to the rear end panel.
6. Remove the bolts (3) securing the fascia to the horizontal joint at the quarter panel (4).
7. Remove the fascia by sliding rearward to disengage the fascia from the rear bumper brackets.
Installation Procedure
1. Position the fascia (2) to the body.
2. Align the studs on the fascia to the holes in the rear end panel.
3. Install the fascia to the quarter panel pressing into place until fully secured.
Notice: Refer toFastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
4. Install the nuts (1) to secure the fascia to the rear end panel.
