Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
7. Install the power steering gear retaining bolts.

Tighten the bolts to 95 Nm (70 ft. lbs.).
8. Install the outer tie rod.
9. Connect the intermediate shaft to the power steering gear.
10. Install the intermediate shaft lower pinch bolt.
^
Tighten the bolt to 47 Nm (35 ft. lbs.).
11. Install the tire and wheel.
12. Lower the vehicle.
13. Remove the J42640 from the steering column.
14. Adjust the front toe.
