Removal Procedure
1. Release the park brake.
2. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle (See: Maintenance/Vehicle Lifting/Service and Repair) .
3. Pull down on the intermediate park brake cable and release the connector (1) from the front park brake cable.
4. Using the J 37043 , depress the locking retainer (2) of the intermediate park brake cable housing (1).
5. Remove the intermediate park brake cable from the floor panel bracket (3).
