4. Remove the RH side rear compartment trim panel (1) from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

1. Install the RH side rear compartment trim panel (1) to the vehicle.
2. Install the rear compartment trim panel. Refer to Compartment Trim Panel Replacement - Rear  (See: Compartment Trim Panel Replacement -

Rear) .

3. Install the rear compartment sill plate. Refer to Compartment Sill Plate Replacement - Rear  (See: Compartment Sill Plate Replacement - Rear) .
4. Close the rear compartment lid.

Removal Procedure

1. Open the rear compartment lid.
2. Remove the rear compartment convenience net. 

Important:  The type of retainers used for Sill Plate are the push on, screw off type.

It is very important to follow this procedure or wasteful destruction of the screws will happen.

3. Remove the convenience net retainers (1) retaining the rear compartment sill plate (2) to the vehicle.
4. Lift the rear compartment sill plate (2) to disengage the clips from the sill.
5. Remove the rear compartment sill plate (2) from the vehicle.
