DeVille DTS V8-4.6L VIN 9 (2002)
1. Install the rear compartment lid latch (4) to the rear compartment lid (6).
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
2. Install the rear compartment lid latch fasteners (2).
Tighten the fasteners (2) to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).
3. Connect the electrical connector (3) to the rear compartment lid latch (4).
4. Install the rear compartment lid lock cylinder release cable (5) to the rear compartment lid lock cylinder.
5. Install the rear compartment lid latch interior release handle (1) to the rear compartment lid.
6. Install the rear compartment lid trim panel. Refer to Compartment Lid Trim Replacement - Rear (See: Trunk / Liftgate Interior Trim
Panel/Service and Repair/Compartment Lid Trim Replacement - Rear) .
7. Close the rear compartment lid.
