EXC. ELDORADO & SEVILLE
1.
Support vehicle at frame and support rear axle using a suitable jack.
2.
Remove shock absorbers.
3.
If equipped with Automatic Level Control, remove bolts attaching stabilizer bar to lower control arms and remove stabilizer bar.
4.
Remove bolt attaching brake line junction block to rear axle housing, then disconnect brake lines from clips on rear axle housing.
5.
If equipped with Automatic Level Control, disconnect link from leveling valve arm.
6.
Position a jack stand under nose of differential carrier to relieve tension on lower control arm to axle housing bolts, then remove bolts, Fig. 3.
7.
Disconnect drive shaft from pinion flange and support from frame with wire.
8.
Remove jack stand from under nose of differential carrier, then remove upper control arm pivot bolts at rear axle housing.

9.
Disconnect lefthand parking brake cable at equalizer and cable at frame by removing clip.
