1. Install the horizontal seat motor (1) to the frame.

Notice:  Refer to Fastener Notice  (See: Service Precautions/Vehicle Damage Warnings/Fastener Notice) .

2. Install the horizontal seat motor screws.

Tighten the screws to 10 N.m (88 lb in).

3. Install the cables into the motor.
4. Connect the electrical connector to the seat motor.
5. Install the seat cushion frame. Refer to Rear Seat Number 2 Cushion Frame Replacement  (See: Seat Cushion/Service and Repair/Rear Seat

Number 2 Cushion Frame Replacement) .

6. Calibrate the seat. Refer to Power Folding Seat Calibration  (See: Service and Repair/Procedures/Power Folding Seat Calibration) .

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the seat from the vehicle. Refer to Rear Number 2 Folding Seat Replacement  (See: Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Rear

Number 2 Folding Seat Replacement) .

2. Remove the seat cushion cover. Refer to Rear Seat Number 2 Cushion Cover and Pad Replacement  (See: Seat Cushion/Service and Repair/Rear

Seat Number 2 Cushion Cover and Pad Replacement) .

3. Remove the rear seat recliner outer finish covers. 

4. Remove the push on retainer (1) from the recliner motor driveshaft.
5. Disconnect the electrical connector from the motor.
