Transmission Fluid Cooler Hose/Pipe Replacement (RWD)

Tools Required

J 44827 Transmission Cooler Quick Connect

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the engine oil filter. Refer to Engine Oil and Oil Filter Replacement  (See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Engine

Lubrication/Engine Oil/Service and Repair) .

2. Remove the left hand (LH) front wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation  (See: Maintenance/Wheels and Tires/Service and

Repair) .

3. Remove the LH front splash shield retainers.
4. Remove the LH front splash shield.
5. Using J 44827  , disconnect the transmission oil cooler (TOC) lines from the radiator.
