Installation Procedure
Important: Inspect the bearing retainer for any nicks or cracks that may result in a leak. Replace as necessary
1. Place the seal in the front bearing retainer.
2. Using the J38801 install the seal.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
3. Install the front bearing retainer to the transmission.

Tighten the 4 bolts to 22 Nm (16 inch lbs.).
4. Install the clutch actuator and the bolts.

Tighten the clutch actuator bolts to 8 Nm (71 inch lbs.
5. Install the transmission.
6. Install the rear propeller.
7. Inspect the fluid level.
8. Lower the vehicle.
