Removal Procedure
1. Remove the air cleaner assembly. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement (6.2L) (See: Engine/Tune-up and Engine Performance Checks/Air
Cleaner Housing/Service and Repair)Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement (7.0L) () .
2. Disconnect the surge tank inlet hose assembly from the radiator support tabs.
3. Remove the radiator support bolts.
Important: Note the position of the radiator support in relationship to the fan shroud. This must be reassembled correctly in order to
retain the fan shroud.
