REMOVAL PROCEDURE

Hinge Replacement: Rear Door - Removal Procedure

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable, if equipped with power windows or door locks.
2. Unclip the plastic retainers.
3. Remove the front door sill plate (1).

4. Remove the plastic retainer that secures the lower B-pillar trim panel.
5. Gently pry loose and remove the lower B-pillar trim panel (1) from the vehicle.
6. Disconnect the door wiring harness electrical connector beneath the lower B-pillar panel.
7. Release the door wiring harness grommet and unroute the wiring harness from the door jamb, if equipped.
8. Place a block of wood between a floor jack and the door to support the door.
9. Remove the door check link bolt from the door jamb.

10. Remove 4 hinge bolts from the door.
11. Remove the following components from the door jamb:
