6. Remove both rear parking brake cables (3) from the parking brake cable equalizer (2).
7. Remove the wiring harness connector from the parking brake warning switch on the right side of the parking brake lever.
8. Remove the screw and the nut attaching the parking brake lever (1) to the vehicle.
9. Remove the parking brake lever (1).
