Accelerator Pedal Removal/Installation

Throttle Cable Attachment To Throttle Body

1.

From the engine compartment, install the cable housing end-fitting through the grommet in the firewall.  

2.

Snap the throttle cable end-fitting into place in the throttle cable bracket on the engine.

3.

From inside the vehicle, pull the cable housing end fitting through the firewall grommet and insert the housing retainer clip.

4.

Install the ball end of the throttle cable through the upper end of the accelerator pedal shaft.

5.

Install the plastic throttle cable retainer.

6.

From the engine compartment, rotate the throttle body throttle levertoward wide open throttle and install the cable.
