Front And/Or Rear Brakes Squeal When Braking
OVERVIEW:
This bulletin involves replacing the front and/or rear brake pads
MODELS:
2005 - 2006 (LX) 300C SRT8/Charger SRT8/Magnum SRT8
SYMPTOM/CONDITION:
Front and/or rear brakes squeal when braking, most noticeable with light brake pedal application.
DIAGNOSIS:
If the vehicle operator describes the Symptom/Condition perform the Repair Procedure.
PARTS REQUIRED
REPAIR PROCEDURE:
1.
Use the procedures outlined in TechCONNECT: SERVICE INFO tab /5 - Brakes/Hydraulic - Mechanical/Brake Pads - Shoes/Removal and
Installation, to replace the front and/or rear brake pads.
NOTE:
Replacing the brake pads will NOT reduce brake dust or minor rotor grooving.
POLICY:
Reimbursable within the provisions of the warranty.
