CV JOINT INNER
REMOVAL
1. Clamp shaft in a vise (with soft jaws) and support C/V joint.
2. Remove clamps with a cut-off wheel or grinder (Fig. 17).
CAUTION: Do not damage ON housing or half shaft with cut-off wheel or grinder.
3. Remove housing from the half shaft (Fig. 18) and slide boot down shaft.
4. Remove housing bushing from the housing.
