Removing

Position the vehicle on a lift.

Op. 7040A60 UNDERDASHBOARD TRIM - R.R..

Op. 7065A14 ANCHORAGE ROD FOR, (ONE), FRONT SEAT BELT LEFT OR RIGHT - R.R..

Op. 7040L20 TUNNEL COVER - R.R..

Check that the handbrake is released.

1. Slacken the handbrake cable adjustment nut.

2. Disconnect the handbrake cables from the mechanism on the lever.

Op. 4450B13 REAR WHEELS (TWO) - R.R..

Op. 3320B34 REAR BRAKE DRUMS - R.R..

Raise the lift.

1. Remove plug (1a) and disconnect handbrake cable (1b) from the fitting on the shoes, working from the front side of the shoe carrier plate.

2. Pull the cables out from the shoe carrier plate

3. Undo the bolts securing the cable retaining bolts.

4. Release the handbrake cable brackets from the rear leaf springs.

5. Remove the handbrake cables.

Refitting

Fit the handbrake cables and connect to the rear shoes.

Fit the protective caps.

Op. 3320B34 REAR BRAKE DRUMS - R.R..

Fit the handbrake cable support brackets to the rear leaf springs.

Tighten the handbrake cable support brackets.

Pass the cables inside the car.

Lower the vehicle.

Op. 4450B13 REAR WHEELS (TWO) - R.R..

Working from inside the car, connect the handbrake cables to the mechanism on the lever.

Op. 3380A04 HANDBRAKE - ADJUST TRAVEL.

Remove the vehicle from the lift.

Removing

Position the vehicle on a lift.

Check that the handbrake is released.

1. Slacken the handbrake cable adjustment nut.

2. Disconnect the handbrake cables from the mechanism on the lever.

Op. 4450B13 REAR WHEELS (TWO) - R.R..

Op. 3320B34 REAR BRAKE DRUMS - R.R..

Raise the lift.

Op. 1042E60 CNG CANISTER(S) GUARD/PROTECTION -R.R..

Op. 1042A72 CENTRE CANISTER FOR CNG CANISTER ASSEMBLY - R.R..

1. Unscrew bolts (1a) and release the handbrake cables from the brackets.

Release the handbrake cables from the retaining clips on the side brackets supporting the methane cylinders.

1. Remove plug (1a) and disconnect handbrake cable (1b) from the fitting on the shoes, working from the front side of the shoe carrier plate.

2. Pull the cables out from the shoe carrier plate

3. Undo the bolts securing the cable retaining bolts.

4. Release the handbrake cable brackets from the rear leaf springs.

5. Remove the handbrake cables.

Refitting

Fit the handbrake cables and connect to the rear shoes.

Fit the protective caps.

Op. 3320B34 REAR BRAKE DRUMS - R.R..

Fit the handbrake cable support brackets to the rear leaf springs.

Tighten the handbrake cable support brackets.

Connect the handbrake cables to the retaining clips on the side brackets supporting the methane cylinders.

Pass the cables inside the car.

Op. 1042E60 CNG CANISTER(S) GUARD/PROTECTION -R.R..

Lower the vehicle.

Op. 4450B13 REAR WHEELS (TWO) - R.R..

Working from inside the car, connect the handbrake cables to the mechanism on the lever.

Op. 3380A04 HANDBRAKE - ADJUST TRAVEL.
