ANNUAL INSPECTION PLAN

1.2 8v, 1.6 16v, 1.3 JTD 16V, 1.9 JTD 8V, 1.9 DIESEL

For vehicles with annual mileage below 20,000 km (e.g. about 10,000 km) there is an annual inspection plan which includes the following:

Check condition / wear of tyres and, if necessary, adjust inflation pressure (including spare wheel).
Check operation of lighting system (headlamps, direction indicators, hazard warning lights, load carrying compartment, passenger compartment, glove compartment, instrument panel warning lights, etc.)
Check operation of windscreen wash/wipe system, jet adjustment.
Check positioning/wear of front/rear wipers
Check condition and wear or front disc brake pads
Visually inspect condition of: engine, gearbox, transmission, pipes (exhaust, supply, fuel, brakes), rubber elements (boots, hoses, bushes, etc.), braking and fuel system hoses.
Check the battery charge
Visually inspect condition of various drive belts
Check and if necessary top up fluid levels (engine coolant, braking system, windscreen washer, battery, etc.)
Change engine oil
Change engine oil filter
Change pollen filter

(**) Or every 3 years for heavy usage (cold climates, town driving with long idling stops, dusty areas).

Or every 5 years, irrespective of the mileage.
