2. Removing

ESSENTIAL : Respect the safety and cleanliness recommendations that are specific to high pressure diesel injection (HDi) engines [info icon].

Disconnect the battery.

Place the vehicle on a 2-post lift.

Drain :

  • The engine cooling system
  • The gearbox [info icon]

Remove :

  • The central section of the lower front panel [info icon]
  • The right-hand headlamp [info icon]
  • The front wheels
  • The protection plates under the engine
  • The drive shafts [info icon]
  • The pre-catalytic converter [info icon]
