3. Refitting

CAUTION : Adhere to the tightening torques.

Refit :

• The fuel tank (10)
• The bolts (11)

Remove the unit lifting jack.

Refit the clip (9) on the fuel tank filler neck (10); Using tool [9029-T].

Refit new rivets (8).

Couple the venting pipe (7) on the fuel tank (10).

Tighten the nut (6).

Remove the tool [0188-T].

Couple up :

• The pipe (5)
• The pipe (4)

Connect the connector (at "a").

Refit :

• The access flap (3)
• The bolts (2)
• The soundproofing (1)

Fill the fuel tank (10); Using the apparatus for draining fuel tanks.

CAUTION : Perform the operations to be carried out following reconnection of the battery.

Reconnect the battery.

4. Priming of the EURO 4 fuel circuit

CAUTION : Prime the fuel circuit by actioning the ignition key several times to the ignition+ position.

Check that the fuel gauge works.

Return the vehicle to its wheels.

5. Priming of the EURO 5 fuel circuit

CAUTION : It is necessary to perform the "replacement of the metering pump" procedure in the RP (Replacement Parts) menu; Using the diagnostic tool.

Prime the vaporiser circuit; Using the diagnostic tool.

Switch on the ignition 10 times in succession over a period of 5 seconds, without starting the engine, this to prime the fuel circuit.

Check that the fuel gauge works.

Return the vehicle to its wheels.
