ESSENTIAL : Observe the safety and cleanliness recommendations.

1. Tooling

A bleed unit approved by the manufacturer.

A diagnostic tool.

2. Drain - refill

Disconnect the connector (at "a").

Uncouple the pipe (1).

Remove :

• The brake fluid reservoir cap
• The brake fluid reservoir filter

Drain the brake fluid reservoir as completely as possible; Using a syringe. Withdraw the reservoir from its two outlets by pulling upwards.

Empty the brake fluid reservoir.

Clean the brake fluid reservoir.

Refit the brake fluid reservoir.

Couple the pipe (1).

N.B. : Fit a new clic clip.

Reconnect the connector (at "a").

CAUTION : Use only approved and recommended hydraulic fluids.

Fill the brake system reservoir.

Bleed the brake system.

3. Bleeding the brake system

CAUTION : During the bleeding operation : Keep the fluid topped up in the reservoir and complete it. Use new brake fluid only.

Bled the primary brake circuit during a conventional operation.

Bleed the secondary brake circuit in the following cases :

• Venting the secondary brake circuit
• Starting the pump
• supply to the electrovalves
