1. Location

The flow meter is located underneath the air filter air outlet duct (at "a").

2. Removing

Disconnect the battery.

Close-up photograph of the air flow meter assembly. Callout 'b' indicates an electrical connector. Callout '1' points to the upper air duct. Callout '2' points to the retaining clips. Callout '3' points to the lower flexible blue air duct.

Chock and lift the vehicle on a 2 column lift.

Remove the under engine protection.

From under the vehicle.

Disconnect the connector (at "b").

Loosen the clips (2).

Uncouple the flow meter (4) from the ducts (1), (3).

Remove : The flow meter (4).

3. Refitting

Refit : The flow meter (4).

Couple the flow meter (4) to the ducts (1), (3).

Re-tighten : The clips (2).

Reconnect the connector (at "b").

Refit :

  • The protective panel under the engine
  • The vehicle to its wheels

CAUTION : Perform the operations to be carried out following reconnection of the battery.
