3. Refitting

Disconnect the connector ( as "b").
Remove the bolts (9).
Prise apart pipe ( 10).
Remove :

• The (12) bolt
• The high pressure fuel pipe (11) (see the relevant operation)
• The bolts (8)
• The inlet manifold (7)

3. Refitting

Make up 2 guides of diameter 8 X 100 and length 80 mm.
Put the 2 guides in place ( as "c", "d").
Refit :

• The seal (13) (new)
• The inlet manifold (7)
• The 10 bolts (8)

Tighten the 10 bolts (8) to 3 ± 0,3 daN.m.

Refit :

• The high pressure fuel pipe ( 11) (New) (see the relevant operation)
• The (12) bolt

Tighten :

• The high pressure fuel pipe (12) union on the fuel high pressure common injection rail side to 1,9 ± 0,2 m.daN (see the relevant operation)
• The high pressure fuel pipe (12) union on the high pressure fuel pump side to 2,5 ± 0,2 m.daN (see the relevant operation)

Reposition the tube ( 10).

Refit :

• The bolts (9); Tighten to 2,8 ± 0,2 daN.m
• The air inlet neck (5)
• The 4 bolts (6); Tighten to 2,8 ± 0,2 daN.m

Position the electrical harness.

Reconnect the connectors ( as "a", "b").
Re-couple the air pipe (4).
Continue the fitting operations in the reverse order to the removal operations.
Reconnect the battery.
