N.B. : Should it prove impossible to remove one of the diesel injectors : Use tool [0191-2R].

Plug the diesel injector wells.

3. Refitting

CAUTION : Adhere to the tightening torques .

ESSENTIAL : Respect the safety and cleanliness recommendations that are specific to high pressure diesel injection (HDi) engines .

CAUTION : Replace the removed diesel injection high pressure pipe(s).

Remove the diesel injector well blanks.

CAUTION : Refit the diesel injectors observing the marks made on removal (if the injectors are to be reused).

Refit :

• The diesel injectors (4) fitted with a new centring ring
• The clamps (5)
• The bolts (6) (without tightening)

Refit the diesel injector high pressure fuel supply pipes (7) (new) :

• Tighten to the end of the thread and by hand the unions on the diesel injectors (4) (at "c") and the unions on the fuel high pressure common rail (at "d")
• Tighten the bolts (6) of the flanges (5) of the diesel injectors (4); Using the tools [1603-A], [1603-E], [4220-TG]
