4. Refitting

Fit the tool [1503-L] in place of the oil pressure switch (1).

Tighten tool [1503-L] to 4 ± 0,4 m.daN.

Fit the tool assembly [1503-AY] and [1503-B] to tool [1503-L].

CAUTION : Oil pressure is checked with the engine hot after checking the oil level.

Start the engine.

Wait for the fan to engage and then disengage.

Note the oil pressure.

Compare the readings on the oil pressure gauge with those in the table .

Wait for the engine to cool down.

Remove the tools [1503-AY], [1503-B], [1503-L].

4. Refitting

Clean the thread of the oil pressure switch (1).

Coat the thread of the oil pressure switch (1) with thread lock.

Refit the oil pressure switch (1); Tighten to 4 ± 0,4 daN.m.

Reconnect the connector (at "a").

Top up to level.

Start the engine.

Check the sealing of the oil pressure switch.

Refit the under-engine protection.

Return the vehicle to its wheels.
