ESSENTIAL : Observe the safety and cleanliness recommendations.

1. Removing

Disconnect the battery.

Put the wheels in the straight ahead position.

Remove :

  • The steering wheel
  • The controls under the steering wheel

Fitting A : Left-hand drive.

Fitting B : Right-hand drive.

Remove the bolt (1).

Disengage and push the lower part of the steering column upwards (at "a").

The steering column assembly with callouts for bolts (3), nuts (4), connectors (b), transponder aerial (2), and the column itself (5).

Unplug :

  • The connectors (at "b")
  • The transponder aerial (2)

Remove :

  • The bolts (3)
  • The nuts (4)
  • The steering column (5)

2. Refitting

CAUTION : Adhere to the tightening torques.
